An Invitation to Now

Today we are reminded to take one day at a time. This is an invitation into this moment - into presence. And presence invites us into our empowerment.

Although we have learned to focus on the past and the future, everything happens in this moment of now. We carry the past forward and worry about the future based on conditioning, and in the process lose connection with the present. Sometimes this is on purpose, yet most of the times it is simply habit.

Take the time today to notice what is happening in your life in this moment of now. Do you notice resistance to being present? Is your mind racing on too many other things? If so, gently inquire what you are focused upon. Are you attempting to avoid what is in front of you? Are you yearning for the future, for things to be different, to be in a different relationship, to have a different life? What do you notice about your focus and attention?

Take a deep breath and place your hand over your heart. Become aware of this moment again. Are you willing to trust that you have everything you need right now, even if it is not what you most desire? Are you willing to let go of attachment to outcome? Are you willing to realize that what you most desire exists already and will appear in the world around you as if by magic? Are you willing to practice that what you think becomes your reality and allow yourself to act “as if” what you desire is already here?

In the swirling news stories and chaos all around us, anxieties are naturally being activated and triggered within us. We are being asked to redirect our focus from "“what is happening out there” to “what is happening within at this moment.” This is a reminder that our power exists only in this moment and we are encouraged to return to ourselves and embrace it.

Additionally, when we focus on the future or the past, we are missing out on the full experience of precious moments that are right in front of us. As we come more out of illusions - especially of separation - it becomes easier to remember that we are safe and that the Universe has our back. This is a call to remembrance of our inner connection and our inner power to manifest our realities.

This is a call to sense and know our power in the present moment. Indeed, when we come back into the present moment and allow ourselves to feel and believe that all is well, we begin to magnetize that wellness to us, as well as opportunities, prosperity, and love.

What will you focus on today?

What do you notice in your now?

Do you notice a shift in your energetic field when you put down worry over outcome, control, guilt, shame, longing, and other forms of fear that have us focused on the past or future?

Are you willing to get to know yourself today?

Are you willing to take yourself on a date today?

Who are you today? What do you desire? What do you need?

Are you willing to engage in self-love and self-care today?

What are your inner child(ren) asking for?

What serves you best in this moment of now?

As you bring your attention to now, do you notice any inspiration or creativity coming forth? Any clarity?

As you take the time to feel your inner connection to self, also allow yourself to sense or imagine the presence of your guides and angels. They have messages for you and so much love and they are with you in this moment of now.

And, so it is.
