Four of Cups
Guardian of The Night Tarot, MJ Cullinane
We are immersed in amplified energies, resulting in many people feeling overwhelmed. When this occurs, we may retreat or isolate ourselves until the feelings of overwhelm dissipate. Such isolation is different than going within to connect; rather, it may become a form of escapism that results in additional feelings of being stuck or even apathy and increased discontent.
The invitation of this card is to be mindful of curling up and shutting out the world. This is a natural response and when done with consciousness assists us in finding renewal, support, and clarity. It is wise to create sacred space wherein we can be in silence and solitude. Such space supports us in seeing more perspectives and dissolving any fears.
This is an opportunity to let go of learned behaviors and fears that make us want to hide and/or avoid being exposed. It is an invitation to work with and embrace our sensitivities, rather than shut them off. By releasing our defensiveness and resistance, we allow the embodiment of more of our multidimensionality.
We also allow ourselves to remain open to the voice of our hearts, as well as those of our guides and angels. Thus, rather, than fostering missed opportunities or stagnation, we allow ourselves to continue to expand while at the same time being conscious of our needs. This is living as a conscious co-creator.
