Justice
Guardian of the Night Tarot, MJ Cullinane
The bat is in tune with all of its surroundings. It makes decisions with all of its senses, not just what it sees (bats are not actually blind, despite common beliefs). Thus, we are invited to strike a balance between our intuition and logic with any decisions before us. In other words, this is an invitation to open to coherence between the higher heart and higher mind.
Every decision has ripple effects that cannot be known at the time of the first decision. Sometimes these ripple effects are referred to as consequences, particularly when there is an effect we do not prefer. We are at a time of ever increasing unknowns and therefore decision-making may seem more challenging.
We are invited to take a deep breath and to trust ourselves. We are encouraged to listen to our intuition and what all of our senses are telling us. This asks us to recognize, observe, and engage with any fears, doubts, worries, concerns that may arise. It also asks us to observe our stories and where these fears, doubts, worries, and concerns originated.
This provides us the opportunity to assess if our fears are reasonable, if we are in panic and survival, or if we are making choices out of habit or conditioned belief systems. We have the opportunity to see beyond our resistance and avoidance to truth. In fact, if we are willing to dive in deeply with our fears, we have the opportunity to come out of flight, fight, and freeze modes into a higher frequency of consciousness.
This process lets us step outside of the ego and logical mind. It creates room for the wisdom of your inner voice that comes through your heart - the wisdom of your higher mind. And, this is significant because our higher minds always have more information than we do and can lead us to the best decisions for ourselves and everyone involved. Indeed, the higher heart and the higher mind are always connected with our Higher Self and soul that want the best for us and will never abandon us. We simply have to become willing to listen.
That also leads to the 11 of this card. For the ability to tap into higher wisdom allows us the opportunity to make decisions from an illuminated perspective. This perspective has a much better awareness of the unknowns than we do. It also allows us greater creativity, inspiration, empathy, sensitivity, insight, and balance. Through this alignment, we bring all of ourselves to the process of choice and decision-making so that we may find the ideal outcome.
Thus, today, we are invited to connect with our heart-center and through that to our higher heart and higher mind. As you gently focus your breathing on your heart center, invite your Higher Self and your guides and angels to commune with you. Ask them for assistance knowing what is the best choice or decision for you with regard to any question or challenge that is active in your life. Then, listen and breathe.
Allow yourself to see, sense, hear, know, or feel the answer to your question. Allow yourself to feel the difference between the voice of Spirit and the voice of your ego mind. You will know this as the former will be loving and non-judgmental, the latter will be fear-based and critical. Continue to listen and breathe. Observe fears, resistance and avoidance and continue to breathe and listen.
Continue to observe as you go throughout your day to any messages or guidance you receive.
Allow yourself space to make decisions and do not rush or act impulsively. If you are willing to engage in this way, you will find the best path, the best decision, the best choice for you and for all.
And, if you are willing to embrace this as a way of being, you will find greater confidence, trust, and safety in all that you experience. This will bring even more flow, ease and grace into your life.
Thus, just as the bat navigates the dark with grace and ease, so too will you be able to navigate life’s many unknowns.
