Prismatic Thinking

Today, we are reminded that there is so much more than duality and we are invited to see the limitless nuance and tapestry of life.

We have been born into and immersed in a dualistic dimensional world with polar opposites - e.g. right and wrong, good and bad, etc. As we continue to ascend in consciousness we are offered the opportunity to come out of dualistic thinking, believing, and living into an infinite spectrum of color and experience. Part of our journey in this lifetime and as a collective is to learn to integrate polarity. This is one of the hallmarks of humanity’s evolution to higher consciousness.

As amazing as our human eyes are, we are only able to see approximately 1% of the spectrum of light. This allows us to see the magic of beauty in the world - nature, rainbows, each other - yet, there is a great deal more that remains as yet invisible. This is because it is at a frequency outside of our optic range. Although we do not see it, does not mean that it does not exist or that our limited view is all that there is.

Rather, it is an invitation for each of us that there is more to discover.

Such awareness also reminds us to open to compassion and prismatic thinking.

What is real and true for one may be real and true for another - and it may not be real and true for another. Both and more have the potential to exist. As beings creating out of consciousness, we each create our own reality. These realities overlap. This does not mean that they are the same, however - or that they “need” to be the same. In fact, it is the contrast and vast array of nuance that encourages us on the ceaseless journey of consciousness evolution.

Each is part of the whole, each is unique, each is valuable.

Take the time to connect with your heart space today and reflect upon the ways in which you are experiencing polarity in your life. What do you notice? Do you notice there is less polarity than there used to be? Do you notice you are more able to stay neutral and stay out of judgment? Do you notice where you have judgment still?

What does truth mean to you? Do you require others to agree with you to validate your truth? Are you willing to allow others to have their own truth? Are there “truths” that you find triggering?

As you reflect, do you notice that you have more compassion and/or empathy than you did previously? Are there areas of life where you would like to cultivate more compassion? What are you able to do today to cultivate more compassion for self and/or other?

We would love to hear of your experiences in the comments section below.
