Purpose of Cycles
Today’s message comes from The Rose Oracle by Rebecca Campbell. This card reminds us that nothing is ever static. This is because everything is energy and energy is always in motion.
The Illusion of Separation has resulted in our disconnection from nature, as well as from self and thus Source energy. In humanity’s quest for control and power, the seasons and natural cycles were ignored, discarded, and suppressed.
As children, we also learned to fear change and the unknown and how to plan, manipulate, and control to provide ourselves with a false sense of safety. However, this false sense of safety is ephemeral at best being based on factors external to us that we can never truly control.
Further, both disconnection and ignoring our natural rhythms result in our being out of balance thereby making a sense of safety and a sense of abundance even more elusive.
Today, we are encouraged to remember that each natural cycle, each phase of life, and each period of transition are all significant for they allow us to discover more of who we are so that we may choose whom we are becoming. They also allow us to feel and experience our connection to self, each other, the natural world, and Spirit.
Indeed, cycles allow for lessons, growth, regeneration, and expansion. Each “death” we experience in any form in our lives creates space for rebirth - for the fuller expression of self.
In addition, surrendering control also allows us to experience greater flow and synchronicity which permits us to experience ourselves as the eternal energetic beings we are that have come forth into physicality to create through consciousness. This is where the magic truly begins!
Take the time to connect with your heart space today. Breathe a little slower and a little deeper into the area around your heart allowing yourself to find the natural rhythm that your body knows well. With each breath, allow your mind to quiet and feel the energy filling up your heart and flowing over as it expands throughout your energetic column and biofield. Call forth the presence of your guidance team and angels. You may wish to invite our Great Mother Gaia to come closer as well. Feel, see, sense, know or imagine the presence of these loving energies as they come closer to support you. Then, reflect upon the following questions, requesting that what you most need to know in this moment be revealed to you.
What is your relationship with trust? Do you trust yourself? Do you trust other humans? Do you trust Spirit?
Do you believe that everything is always working out for you?
Do you fear change? If so, why? (Remember not to judge anything that arises for it is simply information that is assisting you in the transformation process)
Do you fear the unknown? If so, why?
Are you seeking to control anything in your life?
Are you attached to plans that you make?
Are you attached to outcomes?
Are you willing to take risks?
Are you willing to allow flow and synchronicity to guide you? What does this mean for you?
Are you familiar with your own natural cycles and rhthyms? Are you resisting them? If so, why? Are you willing to allow them to guide you?
Are you feeling out of balance in any area of your life? If so, what are you willing to do to create greater equilibrium for yourself?
Are you willing and able to practice creating greater safety in your life? What do you believe you need in order to do so?
We are in a tremendously powerful period of near constant change at this time, what are you willing to allow today to embrace the rhythms and changes within you and in your life?
