The Purpose of Desire
As humans, we do not yet truly understand the role of desire.
Often we do not let ourselves want or desire because we believe we do not deserve it or because we believe it is not possible.
Desire is what propels us forward into expansion and into experience.
Desire is an essential part of being incarnate.
When we desire, we connect with life-force energy. If we do not limit our ability to receive this energy and we take inspired action towards our desires, what we desire WILL manifest in our lives. This is what “ask and you shall receive” means. Contrary to what we have been taught, the Universe is not based on constriction and limitation.
It is based upon abundance and expansion.
Practicing this is part of embracing the self as an energetic being in a physical experience and becoming the active co-creator of your reality. As we do so, we realize that each desire produces another. Thus, there is no such thing as getting it all done whether it is in this lifetime or the next or the next, etc.
We transition (die) when we decide to shift into another form to experience expansion and creation in a different way.
So, Beloveds, what is it that you desire? Spend some time in heart coherence today contemplating what your heart desires. What do you notice? Are you inspired to take any actions? Are you willing to do so?
These quotes are excellent reminders of this energetic truth. May you allow yourself to dream and allow the desires of your heart to come to you.
“A main "Criterion of Consciousness" within the human experience, [Dear One], is never having all you want.
For as one dream comes true, another swiftly takes its place.
Not having all you want is one of life's constants.
And learning to be happy while not yet having what you presently want is the first "Criterion of Joy."
Nail it, and for the rest of your life people will be asking what it is about you.
Desire, . . . is a beautiful thing -
The Universe” (Tut.com)
“You could remain in these bodies indefinitely if you would allow your environment to continue to produce new, continuing, life-summoning desire. You could be one who opened your vortex to continually find new things to want, and those desires would continue to summon Life Force through you: you are living raucously, you are living joyously, you are living rambunctiously, you are living passionately… And then, from that same framework—you make a conscious decision to make your transition.” Abraham-Hicks, Excerpted from Los Angeles, CA on 7/25/99
