Unconditional Acceptance
We have been taught to think of acceptance as giving up. This is actually the opposite of the invitation that acceptance has for us.
When we believe we have to accept because we have no other choice or because we are giving up, we feel disempowered. This results from distortions in our perceptions and also becomes self-reinforcing. It keeps the narrative that things are happening to us that are out of our control alive. This is an illusion.
Unconditional acceptance is in actuality the key to stepping into more of our sovereignty.
It is life changing.
It is empowering.
Acceptance in its pure form is asking us to acknowledge “what is.” This is simply factual. It is not tied to story or to judgment, or to shame and/or guilt. It is asking us to step back and to observe without judgment, without attachment and without being carried away by our emotions. Doing so allows us to have a new perspective(s) on the situation before us. It allows us to open to possiblities and options. It allows us to respond and to consider what is best for us and what we really want and need at this time. It allows us to find clarity, solutions and creativity.
Beloveds, this is part of the remembrance of your emotional mastery. You have learned to be disconnected from your emotions. You have learned to think them, instead of feeling them. You have learned that emotions control you, rather than you controlling your emotions. You have learned to suppress them and not to feel. You have learned to deny yourselves. These distortions you have learned and that have been in place for 1000s of years, in essence, has everything upside down.
The invitation into unconditional acceptance is the ignition of your internal guidance system. It is the reconnection to your soul and to Source. It is the reconnection with your internal wisdom and harkens the return to your access to the quantum field of ancient wisdom. It is part of remembering your empowerment. It is part of remembering that you are at choice and are co-creating your reality.
As you practice unconditional acceptance, you begin to dissolve the energetic structures within which you have contained your own lives. You thus open up to freedom and active manifestation.
You do not need to search for how this operates in your life. It does not have to be challenging. To unravel how you are participating with acceptance in your life asks you to be present and aware. It asks you to observe and participate in each decision. It asks you to come out of autopilot. It also asks you to get in touch with your feelings and to be vulerable. It asks you to look through all the static and noise, through the stories you may or may not realize you are telling yourself.
This will show up in all kinds of ways as you go through your daily life. At first, you might notice it as an after thought. As you practice, you will begin to notice it “in real time.” Be gentle with yourselves and make this a game.
And making it a game is another key. Learning about yourselves is often feels challenging and overwhelming. It can feel scary. This too is an illusion and distortion. In all of these processes we discuss with you, you are simply remembering the rules of the game that were forgotten and replaced by far more limiting beliefs and programs.
What do you discover about acceptance as you go through your day?
What do you feel as your day unfolds about what is happening?
Are there challenges that arise? How do you show up in these challenges? What is your internal dialogue? How do you feel?
Are you willing to give yourself more latitude?
As you breathe and observe yourself, what do you notice? Are you willing to step back and not react?
Do new options and possibilities arise? Do you feel less stress? Is there more clarity?
Are you willing to love yourself more today?
We would love to hear of your experiences in the comments section below.
