Your Voice is Sacred
The Light in the Dark Oracle, by Lucia Dami
Our hearts are the bridge to our Higher Selves and inner wisdom. They allow us to speak our truth and for the higher mind to blend with our hearts wisdom.
Our voice is a powerful transmitter of this wisdom and the encoding each of us carries. It is one of the ways we connect with each other and create interrelationships.
By sharing our voice and our experiences, we foster empathy, compassion, understanding, and a sense that we are are all woven into the fabric of a living energetic system.
How are you using your voice?
Have you observed how you speak with yourself? Is it loving? Critical or judgmental?
Is it your voice that speaks to you or the voice of someone else in your life? It is common for us to internalize the voice of a parent or other authority figure in our lives. Is the voice you use to speak with yourself a combination of voices?
Is the voice you use to speak with yourself aligned with your heart’s truth? Or, is that voice tethered to distortion or illusion? What does your heart show you? How does your body feel?
Do you know the sound of your own voice? If not, are you willing to allow that voice to come forth?
Is your voice layered with fear and/or self-judgment?
How does your heart you feel when you speak to yourself with love?
Are you willing to speak your inner truth in the outside world? Are you willing to have boundaries? Are you willing to speak with confidence and compassion? Do you notice any limitations you place on your willingness to speak in the external world?
What do these limitations reveal to you? Do you not feel safe? Are you not trusting? If so, what is underneath the feeling and resistance?
Are you actively listening? Presence allows us greater intimacy with self and other. And presence is a skill and state that we are remembering as we are willing to BE more of authentic selves. Presence makes us better listeners and better listeners are the best communicators - both of what is said out loud and said in other ways.
Presence, listening, self-love, and self-intimacy allow us to embody even greater connectivity and open the doors to the Unity field.
Communication is not always comfortable, but it is what is being asked of each of us as we expand and grow. As we honor ourselves, we embrace the capacity to honor others. We are invited to not avoid difficult or challenging conversations, but rather to give ourselves permission, to honor our value, to love ourselves, to not take things personally, to realize we are safe, and to realize that we are all on a journey together.
Open and compassionate communication is liberating for all involved. And it allows us to access more truth and more of our innate wisdom.
As we learn to embrace our voice, we also open up to the remembrance that the human voice is one of the most profound healing tools available to us. Your voice is multifaceted, powerful, and significant. And as we expand into our remembrance of harmonics, the human voice will become even more so.
What do you notice about your voice and how you use it today?
