Believe In Yourself

Today, we are greeted by the energies of the Mermaids, who invite us deeper into relationship with our intuition and our heart-centered connection.
The message of this card is:
“This is the moment to trust your inner knowing. The stage of doubting is over, and it’s time to believe in yourself.” (Emphasis added.)
Connection to your Higher Self and inner guidance comes through your connection to your heart space. We often refer to this as our intuition. It is an awareness - a knowingness - beyond the mind, beyond logic, beyond structure. It is our tapping into the infinite field of information that is all around us and within us.
We have learned to block out this information. This is a result of the veil of forgetfulness that we take on upon incarnating, as well as what we learn and experience when we are young, and in other lifetimes. Those who are sensitive have also learned to doubt their information and their inner knowingness as the ego-mind and those around them exert control and seek survival. This may result in blocks and limitations; in other words, stagnant areas of energy in our lives. As we deepen into trust and open to the connection to Source within us, we begin to allow these energies to flow once more.
Indeed, the more we open to trust, the more we know. This is not a process of efforting; rather, it is a process of allowing.
And, beyond developing trust, this is also an invitation to have more self-confidence in your own awareness and sensory capacities.
Do you doubt the nudges you feel?
Do you question yourself when you have a sense or a feeling?
Do you allow yourself to participate in things when part of you knows it is not in your highest good?
Have you found yourself saying, “I knew that was going to happen” and, yet, not listening to that voice within?
Why do you do this? What is it that you are afraid of? Are you in resistance? Are you worried about other people’s judgments, opinions, or their resistance to your autonomy and authenticity? Is your mind in denial or resistance because it does not make logical sense?
The Mermaids are very helpful at assisting us in connecting with the truth of our hearts. This is the inner knowingness. This is the truth that does not go away, even when we decide to believe something else for awhile. The more we practice with following our heart’s knowingness, our intuition, the easier it becomes - and - the more of it we experience in our lives. If we will allow it, our Higher Selves/Source Selves, will happily hold our hands and guide us through each step of each day. This Higher Self/Source Self is not separate from you - it is YOU. And, the veil between you and this part of self is dissolving the more you connect with and through your heart. Are you ready and willing to trust in YOU to guide you?
As you connect within today, ask for anything that stands between you and your deepening into a new level of trust with you inner knowing be revealed to you. Will you allow the information to come forth? What do you notice? As you breathe and stay present, remember there is no judgment, no criticism, no guilt, no shame, no shoulds. There is just you and each of your experiences is inviting you to become more of YOU - to become more of the LOVE that YOU already are.
