Village Crazy Lady, That’s My Job ;)

For many of us, we have a challenging time figuring out where we “fit” and what we want to “do.” We try on all sorts of things we feel we “should do” or “must do” or “have to do.” All of this stems from the external and our desire for love, validation, and safety. It is survival consciousness that has us looking to the outside to figure out where we belong.

The call of the heart, however, never goes away. It continues to percolate under the surface until we can no longer ignore it. More often now we are finding people who switch careers, places to live, relationships, etc. and take a 90 or 180 degree turn into something else. As challenging as that is to do, it also comes with profound relief. It takes us time to accept and put aside doubt and worry about what others might think. Frequently, it takes even longer for those around us to accept the new direction we have chosen for our lives. As we go through the process for however long it takes, that persistent knowingness exists and supports us from within.

More than ever, we are now being encouraged to throw off the illusions and structures of old. This includes what we think we have to be. And, it invites us to find out who we really are. This is a call to go within and allow our authentic self to shine. The momentum is building Dear Ones and this is a time of preparation to live YOUR life - not the life someone else thinks you should have.

It is an invitation to give yourself permission to be in your authenticity and your integrity.

It is an invitation to live your JOY.

This is a journey that I relate with personally, having gone from being a litigator to channeling and energy healing. And, I have never been happier. I love this video clip from Disney’s Moana. When I saw it for the first time, I finally really got and embraced my “job” with a great deal of laughter and an open heart.

May you find what your soul is calling you to do and allow yourself to pursue it with abandon!

The world needs you - the authentic you and the gifts you bring to share with us all.
