Messages From The Mermaids, by Karen Kay
Today, we are again greeted by the lovely energies of the Mermaids. The message of this card is: “It’s time to make an important decision. Consider your choices carefully, then act. You might be pleasantly surprised by the outcome.”
Just like the Mermaids, through our choices, we have the ability to swim in any direction. The energies of this year have been asking us to not only become aware of our choices, but also to learn how we have made them in the past so that we may embrace more of our authentic self as we make choices in the future. When we make choices, we recognize that they do not only effect us and this is one of the reasons we contemplate them carefully. We have also been learning that when we prioritize self from a place of love, we also prioritize others. We have been learning how to BE in the world in a whole new way.
Making everyday decisions is often much easier than making decisions we perceive as having great import. Indeed, we are less apt to procrastinate or put off making decisions that we do not perceive as significant or impactful. While we will not realize the full effect of our decisions until a later time, we are encouraged to align with our Higher Heart and Mind so that we are in a coherent state as we move forward.
The state of alignment/coherence is vital to our being able to make decisions and feel good about them. We may consult all of the guidance available to us and are encouraged to do so, but the final decision is best guided by our hearts. This does not mean that we throw caution, methodology, or logic to the wind. Rather, we are asked to integrate all of these with our heart and our inner wisdom. This asks us to look at any strong feelings we are having and what is causing them. When we have strong feelings, we often lack clarity. The Mermaids encourage us to dive in deeply to our emotions and to seek out our hearts’ truth. This will often result not only in revelation, but in healing and integration. We are profoundly supported in this process by both earthly and cosmic energies, which may propel us into rapid and unexpected shifts.
Our hearts and souls know that any decision we make has the potential for a happy outcome. Alignment allows us to offer a consistent and coherent energetic towards what we are trying to create, instead of multiple inconsistent energetics. This allows us a smoother and more direct path forward and to manifestation. Whatever decision we make, we are encouraged to line up our energy behind so that we may reap the lessons and opportunities it fosters.
Before, during, and after making a decision, we are also reminded to trust in ourselves and in Spirit that all is and will be well. Trust allows us to pivot as needed and to embrace a different final form than perhaps what we initially conceived that is better than we could have imagined.
Take the time to connect within today. Call forth the presence and support of your guides, angels, and Gaia. Allow yourself to feel, sense, or imagine their energies coming closer. What do you notice?
Are there decisions that you feel you “need” to make or wish to make at this time in your life? What is holding you back from making them? Ask the guides to reveal to you anything that you are not seeing while contemplating these decisions.
Are you in resistance, avoidance, or procrastinating? If so, what underlies this?
Are you afraid to make a decision?
Are you attempting to account for all of the variables you do not and cannot yet know?
Bring your attention to your heart space and breathe deeply. Hold the question you are deciding in your heart and listen. What is revealed to you? You may wish to continue to listen over the next three days for more information and greater refinement of the answers you receive.
Are you really required to make a decision at this time or are you forcing an issue?
Are you willing to make a decision and trust that all will work out in your benefit in divine timing?
