Essence of Personal Truth

Today, we are invited to reflect upon the question behind the question.

So often, we stop our inquiry at the surface and do not take it deeper. When we do not inquire deeper, we allow the mind to gather facts to perpetuate stories and narratives. This keeps us in loops and in confusion.

Clarity comes from being willing to get to the essence of what we are looking for or feel that we are missing. It asks us to reveal the core of our desires. This is a very important quest; and one that benefits from consistency and gentleness.

If you are struggling, what are you truly seeking the circumstances of your experiences to provide you with? Are you seeking safety? Are you seeking support? Are you seeking to not feel alone?

If you are angry, what are you really afraid of or in resistance to underneath the anger?

What is the essential truth that really underlies your question?

Are you willing to name it?

Unless and until you are, you will not be able to see beyond the fog of confusion. The mind will continue to do somersaults and turn you into a pretzel.

Giving ourselves permission to be our authentic selves is a profound gift.

Not only does this include acknowledging our needs and desires, but also, once acknowledged, asks us to become willing to be responsible for giving them to ourselves. This is an invitation into wholeness and empowered presence.

This is a practice that requires consistency. Indeed, most of us have learned to deny our authenticity, our truth. Most of us have also taken on distorted lenses of perception from our experiences of wounding.

It is time to acknowledge who you are, Beloveds. It is time to love yourselves and to be willing to name your needs and desires. It is time to see the woundings and filters on your perceptions and release them.

It is time to become your new best friend.

You’re worth it and your authentic self is beautiful.
