Today’s invitation is to bring your conscious awareness to each moment. As you do so, allow there to be kindness, tenderness, and compassion both with self and with those around you.

Even if you know you are “right,” consider whether now is the moment to press your perspective. Does it really matter? Why does it matter to you? When we reflect upon our motives it allows us to perceive our judgments and, thus, offers us the ability to choose whether to continue to assert those judgments of self or other or allow them to fall away.

The same is true with regard to asserting our truth and being honest. Are you being honest because it is required and/or must be asserted? Why is this the case? What is it that you are attempting to demonstrate to another?

Now, this is not to say that we do not speak what is needed or to deny our truth or to allow any form of abuse. It is an invitation to bring our conscious awareness each time we speak and interact with others to reflect upon our behavior so that the subconscious motivations we may have are revealed. It is an invitation our of survival and a reminder that we are always safe.

When we afford grace to ourselves and to others, it is not making us complicit or avoidant. Rather, it is choosing where and how to focus our energy. And, it allows us to hear and understand one another better. Further, grace allows us to have greater compassion in all of our interactions. Moreover, it opens us up to receive more of the love and abundance from Spirit and the Universe.

The message of this card is: “Speak with love, kindness, and diplomacy. Be kind to yourself, and cherish your path.”

The affirmation that accompanies this card is: “I graciously accept the infinite love of the Universe.”
