Celebrating the Journey and the Destination

Today’s message comes to us from the Sacred Traveler Oracle. Seems fitting that this deck has accompanied me on my travels these weeks. ;)

The message of the Reaching Your Destination card is: “Your light is shining brightly.” And here is the accompanying message from the guidebook:

“Card Meaning: All your hard work and effort is paying off. Glory, triumph, and success are yours. If you’ve given your power away, now is the time to reclaim it. It’s time to stand in your own light! A destination is less of a place but more of a new way of seeing the world. Your dreams are moving to fruition. If you have any incomplete projects or unresolved relationships, this is the time to complete them; this is an important part of reaching your destination. Take time to celebrate and acknowledge your successes in life.

The Sacred Traveler Wants You to Know: The voyage was long — and there were many adventures along the way — but as your trek reaches the destination, there’s a feeling of joy and celebration. It’s important to stop and rest, and congratulate yourself for who you are and for what you have done. The traveler forgives those who, on the voyage, were less than honorable. Release any feelings of resentment, fear, and sadness that you may have gathered along the road. You’ve reached your goal; let everything else go. You’re a majestic being who can bring light into the hearts of others. Celebrate and honor yourself. You are so worth it.”

So often we think that we have to wait to reach the destination in order to celebrate; and, indeed, it is wonderful to celebrate our long journeys. However, we are also being invited to shift our perspectives and to celebrate the journey along the way. This is about a shift in perception and how we stand in the world. It is an invitation to come out of the habit of waiting that we have been taught as humans. It is an invitation to embrace life right where it finds you, here, now, today.

And, it has been a journey to get here. You have grown, changed, expanded - you have experienced much. Take the time today to reflect upon who you are now as a result of this journey.

Is forgiveness appropriate for self or other?

What do you honor about yourself?

What has shifted in how you interact with the world?

What has shifted in your perceptions of self?

What has shifted in your perceptions of the world?

What are you willing to celebrate about you today?

You’ve already succeeded, Beloveds. You are here. You are already doing what you came to Earth to do. This invitation is to step into more of yourself and to live a more full and rich life. It is an invitation to drop limitations and to blossom even more. Yes, you have reached a destination and the journey has been long — and — you are just getting started. Take the time to rest, recover, rejuvenate. Nourish yourselves. Allow yourselves to be in balanced relationship with self and all that you have experienced in life. Doing so allows your perceptions to expand and perceptions are key. You have done so well! And the best is yet to come! Celebrate yourselves as we celebrate you. Did you hear the champagne cork pop? ;)

We love you always and in all ways. And so it is!
