Vastness

What if we changed our perspective?

We have been invited to open to ourselves as infinite and limitless beings. The brain is not quite sure what to do with this.

Indeed, the brain has learned to look at the world from the perspective that we are small and always in danger.

Have you given yourself the time to contemplate what infinite and limitless means?

Can you begin to allow yourself to take in the vastness of you?

Do you feel a sense of awe?

Do you feel a sense of curiosity?

What in your experience on this planet has inspired awe within you? Perhaps it is being in a mountain range, in the oceans, or a baby’s laughter. When you feel awe, do you notice an opening in your body? Do you notice your heart expand?

What if your soul is having the same experience of you each time you do the dishes or anything for that matter?

When you think of life in this way, what do you notice about your body, your emotions, your thoughts?

When we allow ourselves to begin to embrace ourselves as limitless beings, we begin to be in the world and not of it. We begin to be able to embrace the joy and the challenges in new ways. We begin to sense hope in a new way. We begin to become more present. We begin to loosen our grip and to relax into this moment of now. We begin to embrace life with wonder and greater curiosity.

In your vastness, Beloveds - even just a glimpse of it - you begin to remember who you are. This allows you to go within and begin to find the answers that you are seeking. These answers are all within you. Everything you seek is within you already. You are the vastness and the infintesmal that you seek.

And so it is, in love.

really, it’s all endless
even when we think things are
finite.

for when there is an end
there is always a new beginning

every exhale
is followed by an inhale
every cry
is followed by a moment of a smile
every belly laugh
is followed by exhaustion

every moment you forget
that something about all of this
is endless
you remember

at least for a moment or two
that the vastness around
is somehow
always infinite.
